Movie Theory: Gaston LeGume survived his fall

Why do I say he survived:

In the movie he is always known to be the hunter in town, when you meet him at beginning he shoots the bird right on sight so that his friend LeFeu gets it, later you see him climbing a house and then you see he does parkour on the roof of the house.

So what have learned in this one scene:

1. He never misses his target
2. He has many skill sets like climbing and parour

What we dont see?
1. He always has with him a bow carrier and he always wears his belt over his shirt, this makes me thinks that the belt isnt meaningless since many hunters use belts to have their hunters ear with them and the bow carrier cant just be to have arrows in, but also grappling  hooks.
2. Unlike the narration where Belle says he is a dumb guy, we dont see it from his perspective. How fully prepared he is before every hunt and so in that way the story is one sided

What we do see in Gastons Bar?
1. Everybody says he is the best hunter(hence good prepared and knows his equipment and also have a security plan)
2. He rather eat eggs and stay healthy instead of drinking beer, since he throws the beers in the fire

What do we see in the Castle Fight?
1. Gaston pretends to be Weak when he is Strong and Fierce to stab the Beast in his back and when he falls after he have stabbed the Beast it is intensionally so he can grab his Grappling hook to the Mountain pass so the Beast and Belle thinks he is dead so they dont pursue him and punish him for hunting a Prince

So In conclusion?
This Hunter is so wellprepared and you are a viewer is lead on to belive he is stupid, that he hasnt planned this Out and that he has no way of surviving the fall but he did and he can out victorious since he wasnt pursed after he escaped and he most likely went into hiding and went to another village to be an average hunter and a less cocky and confident self to live out his cover life.

In fact is so close to the truth it would amaze you, Barry the doctor has a all the similarities with his real human counterpart Bashar al-Assad the president of Syria, at first you may think but why would they make them so alike even if Barrys family rule in a fictional country and Assad in Syria since it would make it belivable.

It takes on the Middle Eastern extremism, both the extremism that a Tyrant that rules a Country brings where he takes away the peoples freedom to speak freely and the Tyranny of Extremism in Islam in such organizations as Islamic State(IS/ISIS), the Levant and other groups that robs people of their freedom and are themselves the Tyrant of their own religion.

3. It takes on the Oil problem in the Middle East and how the Oil affects the power struggle between countries and how alliances are made out of resources.

4. It takes on the issues on Old vs New. The old traditions that has been in a country changes fast and how people react to changes they are put in. Like education and in the presence of religion where female gets more rights and how this may affect extremists group that think this going to far away from the religious books

5. Its made by FX Channel. The same channel that made shows such as Sons of Anarchy and Homeland and the channel is known for their realistic perspective on world problems and local problems using the viewer as an instrument since they know the viewer most likely watches the news and like to be informed about the world and its issues.

Reviewers Intro

I just watched the romantic movie made Chris Evans. Its his directorial debut after being Steve Rogers/Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. When he took that role he got better being more dramatc actor, since he comes from comedic roots and has a long track record in playing in romantic movies who are mainstream.


This movie is not mainstream and its made for an audience used to Indie movies. Who knows that the movie isnt set in a straight line and that the ending is open for evey individual to interpret individually

Movie Plot

In the beginning we see a stressed girl running after the train she misses, she looses her cell phone when a lonely musician picks it up and starts communicating with her. This is the start of the movie and we soon learn both their pasts and their different viewpoints after spending time with them, we learned what led them to New York in the first place and how that One Night in New York changed their lives forever.

Actors performances

The musician Nick is played by Chris Evans who seem to have learned to play the trumpet and the girl who misses the train called Brooke is played by Alice Eve from Star Trek: Into Darkness and She is Out of my League.

Both actors seem to have the chemistry on Screen and New York is seemed to be a realistic place where crimes are commited and there places you can seek before you take the train home. Its as much about the two people as its about the City itself, thats what makes this movie so Unique and not a standard romantic movie, since its focuses on two people and a town they are in for a Night.

Movie Grade

I would grade this movie as 6 Mile movie to see, its different, and it will take you to unexpected places. Its for the more mature audience, but I would say this movie is worth seeing with a girl who understands this type of mature movie, where the story is set in  a way where its more character driven and driven by amazing cinematography highlighting a City, rather than expensive effects and overused movie plots.

5 reasons why you should not be with Men like Gaston!

1. He is self centered and only cares about his own appearance

2. He brags about his muscles, his accomplishments. He loves the attention he gets and he loves the fame, he has girls chasing him but he shows them no interest only lifting them when he feels he has to while singing

3. He has hate in his heart, he is going to slay a Beast that Belle loves. He dosent care about her opinion and he dissmises her words before throwing she and her father in a cellar.

4. He treats people with disabilities and eccentricities with a bad manner, always being rude towards them and either smashing a bucket in his friends LeFou's head and LeFou is different, he has a dissability and he is smaller size and Gaston constantly mocks him and bullies his own friend. He always treats the father of Belle as an Insane man when he is an eccentric Genius who pushes technology forward

5. Gaston only cares about Gaston
Thats why he is single, since he dosent have any room for others than himself and thats a narcissistic way of self loving, he only does what suits him and bring innocent people to his fights

6. Gaston is brave but stupid. He goes and fight the Beast on his own but eventually is thrown from the Castle Wall, he is not Dead.

Movie Year of 2015 - little summary

2015 will be a good movie year. Marvel Entertainment will hit big the movie Avengers Age of Ultron, Ant-Man is a risky movie but I might go as good as Guardians of the Galaxy if they market it well.

Mad Max Fury Road will be a movie that is closer to the original filming style, Star Wars will do the same. Box office flops will be Pan, Taken 3(same shit, new story), Into the Woods and Annie.

Good movies that hasnt been picked up for the Academy Awards are Unbroken made by Angelina Jolie
